Cool Summer Cuisine

The fabulous Chef Beazley grew up in Texas – where it gets REALLY hot in the summer! When meal time rolls around, the idea of eating warm food isn’t very appealing. We’ve had fun creating cool summer cuisine. John is working on getting the recipes prepared to share with you – in his own online cookbook! Until then, hopefully these pictures will give you inspiration for summer meals.

An amazing recipe that our friend Allison served us and nicely shared after:

Salad

My talented hubby enjoyed making crepes for his first time! They were for an absolutely divine meal that he cooked – I’ll have to share pictures of it later. However, with the leftover crepes – I made a cool summer dessert with blueberries inside:

Drinks – summer requires amazing cool beverages to enjoy on the patio and have ready when company stops in. John found a recipe for this phenomenal frozen drink – when he had leftover wine to use. The wine lover in him, didn’t want to throw it out or consume a couple days after opening. Merlot Ice:

Hope you’re having an amazing summer!

  1. Can’t wait for Johns Cookbook. Love reading your blog Robyn. You always brighten my day. :)

  2. I don’t mind at all Crystal!! John is actually going to launch his own blog! I’m SO excited for him. He’s initiated it all on his own. It’s going to feature recipes, his reviews on wine and restaurants and much more he claims. I’ll be sure to suggest we post the Merlot Ice up as one of his first posts this weekend. Thanks for your amazing comments – I too love the problem of finishing a bottle of wine on my own ;) Cheers

  3. Awesome! I will definitely be adding John to my blog dashboard so I can follow him. I am loving wine more and more and could really use someone to give me some tips!

Another questions, is there anyway to be notified by email when someone (like you) responses to my comment? I know there is this option on other blogs. In the meantime I will keep on checking back frequently. Have a great day.
