I was BEYOND excited to go on vacation – that I had packed my suitcase over 2 weeks before departure! I was packed even before I wrapped Christmas presents this year! Which is surprising for me, since I had my tree up at the beginning of November.
John and I were able to enjoy a couple days together on the beach!
My sunglasses were so fantastic – that I got awesome rosy cheek bones below them!
Then John took in his work meetings for a couple days. While he was working – I also worked…beside the pool & ocean!

I was EVEN interviewed for a teleseminar over the phone, by one of my friends & mentors!! I heart technology. I am BEYOND excited to share the details with you – so you can LISTEN to it…if you want to!! As soon as it is available – I will let you know.

Are you planning a winter vacation? OR staycation?
I’ve been “known” to procrastinate at unpacking. I tend to make everything else a priority over emptying my bag.
However, I’ve found a new system that REALLY helps!
I dump EVERYTHING out! Then instead of looking at the closed suitcase, I am motivated to sort my belongings so I’m not tripping over them and looking at the “pile”.
Do YOU use a system to unpack? Any special motivation you give yourself to do it quickly?

I do the exact same thing!! :) Except I dump it out on my bed because then I have to put it away before I can sleep!

Seriously – you just have to unload the suitcase RIGHT AWAY!! No waiting, just do it. Overnight bag? 5 minutes – done! 2 week vacation? 10 solid minutes & I bet it’s done too! Mostly everything needs to be washed right? so in the laundry hamper they go & one needs toiletries to function daily, sooo – done! If all else fails, put on the fast paced “house cleaning” music & maybe more than just the suitcase will get put away! Yesssss!!!

Looks like you had a fantastic vacation! You are radiant! As for unpacking….not fun, but I find I just simply have to set my mind to it as soon as I’m home so that it will get done!
