We’re on the Coach website

Hey amazing followers!

As you probably noticed – this website has become more poppy! I decided it would be fun to participate in Coach’s Poppy Project. I am pretty excited that robynbeazley.com is LISTED with a link on the Coach website!!

If you’re a Internet nut like me, you know having your website linked to others is a huge deal. Especially one that has as much traffic and following as COACH. It has been fun to explore the other websites participating and network with new fabulous people that just happen to be Coach fans also.

Welcome NEW visitors to the Living an Amazing Life blog.

Hope you become an instant winner! Look for Poppy surprises in the pattern. If you spot a Coach Poppy bag, it’s your lucky day! Just click on the bag for a special gift.

Please help the poppy pattern grow by tweeting and spreading the excitement, to get our website to #1. I’d love to win the prize (so I could share the winnings with you!)

  • Make the poppy pattern bloom and grow by tweeting with either the hashtag #coachpoppy , which makes everyone’s pattern grow, OR even better, tweet using the hashtag #robynbeazley to make my pattern grow individually! (Have I lost you yet?)
  • Here’s an example tweet: “Grow, Poppy! Grow!#coachpoppy #robynbeazley http://coach.com/poppyproject
  • The more you tweet with my hashtag (the words with # in front) the more my pattern grows.
  • Also “Like” the Poppy Project on Facebook, by clicking on the Like above the pattern on the right.

I got an email when I joined that we were ranked #189 and when I just looked to grab a couple images for this post, we had already moved up to #162. How fun!

WHO loves Coach?

I need to finish my post about my first Coach purchase with my Mom a few months ago!

I won!

I want to tell you how amazing the Universe is – when you attract things.

I’ve been wanting to take John to the Calgary Tower, as he LOVES revolving restaurants. We did Dallas in December and Seattle in May – so my plan was to take him to the one in our backyard soon.

I found the Sky360 Restaurant on Twitter and started following them. I interacted with the person in charge of their account with a few Tweets. Then MUCH to my surprise, just for being a follower – I WON a $150 Gift Card to their restaurant yesterday!! I heart social media AND Sky360!

I sat looking at the computer with my jaw open in shock for a bit. I am SOOOO pumped! My day was already going amazing and it got a WHOLE lot more fabulous.

I truly believe that I manifested to the world that I wanted to dine at the Sky360 Restaurant and the Universe reciprocated! You can call me crazy or anything else under the moon – however, I’m not going to change – life is TOO awesome!

I urge you to get into the positive mindset and attract beautiful, phenomenal things!

If you’re a business owner and want to increase your brand – what can you give away OR share on social media – to attract more clients – ecstatic ones like me?

I’m SO excited to take John on a date. I’ll be sure to capture the outing by picture and share – when we visit.

Live Inspired,
Robyn

Short, Short Week

It’s going to be a real short work week for me – lucky!

Thursday morning we kick off  our May long weekend in Seattle with our wonderful friends Dan & Corene. During our last spontaneous road trip to Great Falls, MT (the weekend before my hair got chopped) with this fun couple; it was discovered that both Corene and John really wanted to visit this west coast city! Dan and me decided that we’d support the adventure, so the planning begun.

My hubby really wants to see the Space Needle

…so we’re going for dinner in the restaurant at the top.

Corene really wants to explore the Pike Place Market

…I trust we’ll take in the flying fish and explore the market thoroughly, including the first Starbucks! (Which we all know I love – from my Coffee Date tour & posts about Starbucks)

Honestly, I knew very little about Seattle before the planning began, other than my favorite TV show – Grey’s Anatomy takes place there and I’ve often seen the city skyline in episodes.

I checked to see if the Seattle Mariners’ were playing at home during our visit, as I know baseball is John’s favorite sport.

We lucked out and we’re going to take in a game…

(I trust John will) buy me some peanuts and cracker jack!

I’m going to be doing dances all week to attract lots of lots of sunshine during our trip!

Have you been to Seattle? Any suggestions on must-do things?

I look forward to sharing pictures when we return. Follow me on Twitter (@robynbeazley) for my vacation updates.

Happy Travels,

Virtual Socializing

It blows my hair back imagining what the future has in store for us! I’ve been so blessed by the new and renewed relationships I’ve developed since email, then MySpace, Facebook, and even on Twitter.

I love how Susan Poirier from Ace Concierge, LLC explained this phenomena (I subscribe to her ezine and love the social media tips & tools she includes):

“Social media is here to stay!

Learn what it can do for you.

Learn what it WILL do for your business!”

Magazine Collection

What a breathe of fresh air for a Tuesday! I’ve wrote about how I’ve decluttered my life twice so far in, $12 Well Spent and Clear Your Clutter.

I loved reading a blog entry from my Twitter friend @JillChongva. Here is a synopsis:

“I Twittered on Sunday about how I was choosing to declutter my house to make room for the people in it.  Seriously, why was I hanging on to a years worth of magazines that had not moved from the shelf since the moment I put them there?

And a very wise young man (@ranjansaras) Twittered back about how we should be clearing out our failures to make way for more success.”

Jill goes on to share a challenge and more fantastic wisdom. Read more

Interestingly enough, I looked at my collection of magazines last night. My pile is in my office, creeping behind my chair. I’m going home today and making a trip to the recycle bin!

1: Pay It Forward

I’m SO excited to share this beautiful Pay It Forward story with you.

Three months ago, I posted the Texas Bound Giveaway entry, followed by the Twist that outlined the goal of the Living An Amazing Life, 1st Pay It Forward challenge.

Here is our 1st winner, Shelagh’s, heart filled act of kindness:

“I held on to the gift card because I knew I was going to the Children’s Hospital. My kids go for the odd appointment at the eye clinic & sometimes day surgery for dental work…nothing serious. But the parents with seriously ill children, kill me every time I walk through that lobby. I can only imagine how difficult their lives are, pouring everything they have into those kids. I got on the elevator and some young parents got on behind me with a little one in the stroller; she had feeding tubes & no hair; I can only guess some kind of cancer. I knew this was it; these were my people to ‘pay it forward’. I told them that I’d won a Starbucks gift card and that part of the deal was to ‘pay it forward’. I told them I know it must be difficult to get away from the hospital, but if you can, please go have a break & know that I wish your family the best. They were stunned and thankful & I was glad my floor came up as the tears began to well up.”

shelaghblatz

Thank you Shelagh for sharing your love and kind gesture, it brought me to to tears. Your story also filled me up with joy, we’re so lucky to have amazing individuals like you in this world. I’m honored to have you as a friend.

Shelagh and I met last fall, when she exhibited in Copper West. She is a savvy business woman, with her silversmithing business Designs by Shelagh. She makes absolutely stunning jewelry – I love my turquoise necklace. She is also a dynamic mother of 4, and wife of a rancher and outrider for the WPCA. I encourage you to visit her website Designs by Shelagh and follow her on Twitter.

Keep Paying It Forward in your life, it will always come back to you ten fold when you least expect it.
