Happy St Patrick’s Day

Hey amazing followers,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hope today is lucky and brings you good favor for the rest of the year.

I dare you to make a wish AND commitment to yourself, to make your life MORE amazing!

When I thought of  “green” photo to share on St. Patrick’s Day – this picture instantly came to mind! I just melt looking at him in this tiny little green dinosaur sleeper.

Our new son is getting bigger, stronger, and more mature by the day. His homecoming (from the NICU) is on the horizon – fingers crossed!

I look forward to finishing up the 13 Giveaways…one day soon ;) My days are filled with Braxton right now. He is awake more and loves attention – so my focus is helping him mature and grow with quality Mommy time! Thanks for understanding and being patient with me.

Live Inspired,

Happy Earth Day!

As 2009 kicked off – I made a pact that I would become “Greener”! I can’t believe how much less garbage we have. I only have to wheel our Garbage Can to the curb every couple weeks!!

John is slowly adjusting to all of my boxes that sort my paper, plastic, cans, etc. Since he’s from Texas, where very little recycling is done, I will give him a bit of time to adjust! It didn’t take him long to catch onto returning our bottles and cans to collect our deposit money – because he wanted to get back what he already paid for originally. However, the more I drip the green spirit on him, I know he’ll catch on to recycling and reusing other items ;) I love picking out the garbage he puts in the can under the sink in the kitchen and putting into the recycle box behind the garbage!! I don’t say anything, but actions often speak louder than words.

I also hope to plant a small herb garden and more flowers this year in our yard! I know – crazy to think that I might attempt to keep vegetation alive – however I’m working on mastering the skill – I’m currently a Domestic Goddess in Training!

What are YOU doing to live a Greener life – other than just celebrate Earth Day??  I’d love to hear YOUR tips on how I can incorporate more Greener practices into my life!  Please share what you do…

1. Save Some Money…Save a Tree
Here’s an easy way to save $100 (and a few trees) on printing this year. If you need to proof read a document, select the “draft” printing option which uses half the level of printer ink. Also consider selecting the “fit to one page” option will save you from spilling over a short document onto two pages… Also saving you on paper.
