This playlist is really random – it matches my spontaneous personality!

I’m not sure if you recall this or not – BUT I don’t listen to lyrics much. I am a beat person – if the tempo of the song moves me – then I’m hooked. For all I know – a song could be crude or depressing – it usually takes me listening to it about 100 times before I figure that out.

I’d LOVE to hear what your favorite songs are – so I can add to my playlists!

Thanks to my husband for getting my iPod setup. Do you recall him spending hours preparing our iTunes database? Read the blog post – Singing Out Loud!

One day…

…I’ll have a floating home like this…

Can you imagine? We can ;)

The Apoise (means balanced) is an unbelievable yacht, owned by Dave Ritchie, co-founder of Ritchie Bros Auctioneers.

Upon retiring, Dave purchased Apoise, a 220-ft luxury Lürssen motoryacht, with the intention of sailing the world with Gloria for two years, and then selling the yacht at a Ritchie Bros. auction. Dave enjoyed Apoise so much that two years became four; in that time, they traveled all over the world – from Alaska to Australia, the Mediterranean to the Caribbean - quote from http://www.rbauction.com/theapoise/about-dave.jsp

Since John has worked for Ritchie Bros Auctioneersthe past three and a half years, he’s had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Dave Ritchie a few times. Although he’s never had the chance to see the Apoise in person – he has learned lots about it.

This gorgeous yacht is for sale! It’s going to be sold – unreserved (the Ritchie Bros way) on March 30, 2010 in the Grand Cayman. Check out more pics and lots of details HERE.

I watched the Apoise sell online at rbauction.com. The auctioneer (a coworker of John’s & friend of ours – Greg) did an outstanding job, digging away for as much money as he could, and it sold for €34,750,000 (Euros!).

Dreaming of the yacht we’ll own one day – think I’ll call her “Amazing“!

Rocking Kid

This little guy totally made my day!! His facial reactions and guitar moves are priceless.

Photo Shoot

I love pictures and was SO excited that my Uncle Gary gifted our family with a photo shoot for Christmas!

Our photographer was Lori Creech, a wonderful friend of mine that I met at an AG-ELLEevent through my bestie Laura. The pictures she captured blew me away – what an amazing memory to have. Thanks Lori!

View the entire “Mader” album of pictures from our shoot  on Lori’s website (www.loreephotography.com)

Our entire family would highly recommend Lori! Visit her website & follow Lori Loree’s Photography on Facebook!

Congrats to Lori and her fiance Ben on their upcoming spring wedding.

Paradise

My soul mate and I have gone to paradise for the next week!

I’m SOOOOO excited…I’ve been counting down the sleeps until departure for quite awhile.

I’ve got a few posts scheduled while I’m away – so you can still come back and visit “Living An Amazing Life” if you want.

John strongly encourages me NOT to access the Internet while I’m gone on vacation – so I’m going to do my best to stay away. Last year, I was successfully avoided it for a week – I’m going to go 2 for 2!

Turning the snow jacket in for the bathing suit.

Cheers,

I got this fantastic email from my friend Dana today and wanted to share it with you! I did a quick Google search and found out that it is real – he he - results here. Even if it wasn’t – I’m ALL over it.

Just thought you should all be aware that Friday January 8th is …

National Bubble Bath Day !!!!

So enjoy your soak and the wine that goes with it on Friday after our first full week back to reality.

I love it!! Insight on this national holiday.I just so happen to be doing an Arbonne Foot Soak and Wellness Session with 40 youth girls from our church Friday evening. After the excitement and a house to myself (hubby will be gone doing a presentation) – I’m quite sure that I’ll be able to celebrate this holiday with a bottle of Shiraz.

Are YOU going to celebrate this fabulous holiday?

Where did it go?

WOW!! Where did the past 5 weeks go.

Quick update on what’s been shaking in my world.

Took in a day of Farmfair – a livestock show in Edmonton, AB.

I thought these family friend’s were so cute & keen.

Keen Kids

I also got to see and visit with a few of my favorite lady friends – all Copper West contributors. THANK YOU!

Farmfair Divas

I can’t remember the last time I was the “tall” one!?

From left to right – Stacy (check out her blog!), Deanne (sweetly asked me to speak at the conference she organized), Laura (my bestie!), Justine (check our her blog too!), Me (feeling very tall!).

On my way back south – I was able to see two wonderful women – Twila & Carlene! Always such an inspiring visit with 2 very entrepreneurial divas.

Twila, Carlene & I

10 days latter, my wicked friend Twila celebrated her 30th with an epic slogan T-shirt bash. It was a blast!

My hot hubby and I may have been caught two stepping…

We celebrated American Thanksgiving the 3rd Thursday of November – with our friend Mike.

Thanksgiving

We ate a LOT! Our “meat” that was not photographed, was Chicken Fried Steak. Oh, we devoured our southern favorites.

Top to bottom – homemade macaroni & cheese (made with Velveeta), mashed potatoes – loaded, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, with pecan pie for dessert!

 Thanksgiving Feast   Pecan Pie

John was gone for the better part of 3 weeks with work - so my bestie Laura & I spontaneously took a trip to Las Vegas to take in the 3 huge western trade shows that are open during the National Finals Rodeo!!

Vegas

 That’s 5 weeks in a nutshell ;)

Thanks for continuing to visit my blog – I’m so lucky that you’ve returned after my 5 week “break”!

Seasons Greetings!!
