I want to tell you how amazing the Universe is – when you attract things.
I’ve been wanting to take John to the Calgary Tower, as he LOVES revolving restaurants. We did Dallas in December and Seattle in May – so my plan was to take him to the one in our backyard soon.
I found the Sky360 Restaurant on Twitter and started following them. I interacted with the person in charge of their account with a few Tweets. Then MUCH to my surprise, just for being a follower – I WON a $150 Gift Card to their restaurant yesterday!! I heart social media AND Sky360!
I sat looking at the computer with my jaw open in shock for a bit. I am SOOOO pumped! My day was already going amazing and it got a WHOLE lot more fabulous.
I truly believe that I manifested to the world that I wanted to dine at the Sky360 Restaurant and the Universe reciprocated! You can call me crazy or anything else under the moon – however, I’m not going to change – life is TOO awesome!
I urge you to get into the positive mindset and attract beautiful, phenomenal things!

while doing my Spring Cleaning – he made this amazing lunch.
Menu: Chicken Salad sandwiches with pecans and almonds, hard boiled eggs, 3 bean pickled salad (we bought in a big jar at Costco) I’m so blessed that John loves to cook and is so creative.
Chef Beazley even sneaking some grapes into the sandwiches!!

Tonight we put our heads together to make a delish supper. One day in the near future, I’m convinced that we’re going to have a TV or at least an online video show called “What’s in your Kitchen?” I’m always amazed at what Chef Beazley can create with the limited supplies in our kitchen. I would love to come to your house one day and witness John “chef” up an amazing meal from whatever is in your kitchen!
John wanted soup and I wanted cheese bread – so went on our own merry ways in the kitchen and created this:
Mmmmmmmmmmmm…………………this meal was full of calories but so worth it!!
Chef Beazley made this divine Creamy Basil-Tomato Soup with a generic can of tomato soup, milk, water, flour, feta cheese (yum!), and lots of spices!
I was dying to try The Pioneer Woman’s Olive Cheese Bread!! I altered the recipe a bit, I dug out some frozen buns from the freezer (John “dislikes” me freezing bread), used Jalapeño Havarti cheese and my all time favorite olives, Pilaros Green Olives stuffed with Greek Cheeses in Sunflower Oil. The best part I flash froze 4 half buns to bake for another meal (or snack!).

I tend to tote around a LOT of stuff – my sweet better half calls all of my prized belongings doodads and my Mom calls it loot.
I’ve got better about using bags to carry around everything, instead of balancing individual prized possessions in my arms. I’m well known in my family for randomly tossing multiple pairs of shoes in my car – just in case OR hauling around a pile of papers loosely OR I may even be caught throwing a bunch of things into plastic bags (I’ve dramatically reduced how many I use nowadays). Last year I got some fantastic tips from my followers about being “greener” after posting my entry -
Nowadays, I carry more reusable bags around. This morning I laughed out loud at what I looked like. I was carrying 4 bags to my car!
They all had very important roles in upcoming day.
My purse – my first designer bag that my husband gave me for Valentines Day!
In January, I told my frugal hubby that I needed to get a new purse, as my current one was on its last thread. He informed me that I needed an upgrade when getting my next handbag! The exact words out of his mouth were “like Coach or something”. I was SO excited to get this gorgeous new Guess handbag from John!
My favorite – everyday bag that carries anything and everything!!
My Tante (French for Aunt!) Louise & Uncle Marlin gave it to me when I graduated from University. It’s an ESPE (espe.ca) bag and I love it. I also love their wallets and have wore through a couple of them.
My staple – this amazing bag was our swag bag at an Arbonne conference – it is seen stuffed full (as usual).
This particular day it was carrying clothes to the seamstress (note – I’m a domestic goddess in training & delegate jobs I don’t prefer), however it often carries my laptop. I’ve been looking for a beautiful RED laptop bag (for my 17inch laptop) for awhile…if you see one…please let me know. Thanks!
My lunch bag!
This is a BRAND new bag that I got from my Mother-in-love & Father-in-love for my Birthday. It is even personalized with my name!
It’s an insulated lunch bag, that was mailed to me full of treats! Robin Eggs & cookies – so much fun.
