Shaking the dust off an old post!

I was talking to a girlfriend about her Valentines and it dawned on me that we need to chat about the 5 Love Languages! It’s a book that is absolutely amazing! If you’re a keener and can’t wait for me to discuss them all, visit your local bookstore or online used store OR even better borrow a copy from a friend to reveal your Love Language and your partners! If you do anything, go on a date to the Book Store and do the quiz in the back of the book!!
My friend really wanted flowers for the special romantic Hallmark holiday and he made plans to take her for dinner! In his defense it wasn’t in his budget to do both, another lesson – we need to educate the men of the world that Costco, Wal Mart and other fab places sell flowers cheap – bottom line – they are going to wilt away in time!! OK – back to my point!
I quickly identified that her love language was Gifts – not a bad thing – that was just her desire for this occasion AND his was Quality Time or Act of Service – kind of a combo! I’m going to help you discover the 5 Love Languages shortly! The key to an amazing relationship is effective communication – to discover what satisfies each other. I don’t have just 1 Love Language but a combination of 3 ;) and none were what my hubby anticipated for the quiz!!
