Special Thank You!

Timing is everything! The last few days, I have been second guessing myself. When I received a special thank you, I took it as a direct sign from God. I am living a life on purpose!

A huge shout out to my friend Jody for her kind words. I’m so proud of you for making your dream a reality!!

I appreciate each one of you more than you know. Thanks for supporting my journey as a blogger, author, speaker, coach and now Mompreneur!

Live Inspired,

Blow your hair back wicked!

One of my favorite things to do is watch the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show. This year I had full intentions of watching it when it aired on TV Tuesday, but my plans changed. Thankfully I was able to watch this awesome YouTube.com video of the ENTIRE show! I loved the costumes, music, decor, everything was SO amazing – it motivated me even more to run towards my dreams!!

While watching the show I got inspired and creative. I tore apart some outdated business aids instead of simply recycling them. I love finding a new use for things!! How do you get inspired and pumped up??

WARNING – the fashion show is addicting. If you push play below, whatever you’re doing right now – will be put on hold for 44 minutes!!

On my BUCKET LIST: To attend a Victoria Secret Fashion Show in person at the LIVE recording!!

Live Inspired,

P.S. I’ve blogged about a previous VS Fashion Show before featuring the song Amazing by Seal.

Thumbs Up

A few years ago my Mom had bought a new car. The first time I rode with her, she was so excited to show me a few features of her new wheels!

Mom encouraged me to turn the thumbs up button on!

My eyebrows raised in question, “Thumbs up button?”

“Yah!” my awesome Mom exclaimed “it warms your bum!”

“Oh, you mean the heated seat button?” I asked

My “blonde” mother confirmed “Yes!”

I questioned where she got her “thumbs up” description?

With that my unique Mom pointed at the button and gave me the thumbs up action.

I started to giggle! She was completely serious and after taking a closer look at the image, I could see what she saw. I kindly showed her that the symbol was actually a seat with heat rays!?

I loved her positive spin!

We both laughed! To this day, every time I look at the heated seat button in any vehicle – I think of my Mom and smile.

“Thumbs Up” – have an amazing day!

Progressive Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite annual holidays to spend time with family and friends. I have many fond memories of spending it at my Grandma’s. This year my family of 3 decided to spend the day at home by ourselves.

Chef Beazley and I took turns in the kitchen creating our Progressive Thanksgiving dinner. Here are pictures from our feast!

Course #1: Butternut Squash Tomato soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons!!! Oh and every celebration deserves champagne.

Gratitude Journal

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving! One of my favorite annual holidays.

I learned about the concept of utilizing a Gratitude Journal while working with my coach.

20111010-123101.jpg

I keep mine in my nightstand and write in it every couple weeks. I’ve heard you could or should write in it daily. However, as an eternal optimist I catch myself recognizing what I’m grateful in my mind everyday and haven’t made time to put my daily thoughts into words. I suggest you do what works best for you, but I dare you to start a Gratitude Journal!

Write whatever comes to mind. Share everything you’re grateful for! When life gets tough and you face obstacles, reference your journal for inspiration and a glimpse of hope.

Thanksgiving is only celebrated once a year (or twice if you’re like me and recognize the holiday on both sides of the border), but it’s important to reflect on what we’re grateful for daily!

Thank you so much for following my blog and for your amazing support. I’m extremely grateful to have you in my life!

Much Thanks,

P.S. Remember to take a couple minutes each week and write a hand written note or card to someone that you’re grateful to have in your life.

Canadian Thanksgiving
